Yael Deckelbaum - Prayer of the Mothers Tour Live in Cologne & Ecstatic Dance

Yael Deckelbaum is a musician and peace activist known for her song "Prayer of the Mothers", which became the anthem of the March of Hope led by the Women Wage Peace movement. Her video documents thousands of Palestinian and Israeli women marching together from northern Israel to Jerusalem in 2016 to demand peace.
Yael is recognized by many as a groundbreaking musical activist of our time. With the streets as her stage and marching women as her audience, Yael has led various women's marches in over 10 different countries in recent years - from Europe to Asia and America to Africa.

In her latest album "What about the Women", she uses her music to inspire positive change and support non-violent communication between cultures in conflict, emphasizing the need for female leadership.

Now, in these times of war, when the voices of hatred are escalating in her country and in the world, Yael returns to the stages of Europe to make her voice heard again and to remind us of our dream of peace. To remind us of all the good, moderate people on both sides of the border who are caught up in this terrible war.

"I pray that the people of the world will find a way to look at the situation beyond political opinions and propaganda and see and care for the children, all children, in both Israel and Palestine. That we look beyond our hatred and condemnation and find an all-encompassing solidarity. We support the people who seek peace and promote a dialog that can open a door to hope."
