A video of young men in Gaza doing parkour brings back memories for Areeb Zuaiter, the director of the documentary. She has never forgotten the sea, the beach in Gaza and the smile of her Palestinian mother. For ten years, the director accompanies the tough everyday life of Ahmed Matar and his parkour troupe, and a friendship develops. Areeb's search for home, identity and belonging clashes with Ahmed's unconditional will to lead a life of freedom. The multi-award-winning film celebrated its European premiere at the Berlinale.
