YANEQ - "Reime und lose Gedanken" Record Release

YANEQ celebrates his new album "Reime und lose Gedanken". VON KUMMER & HAAS celebrate their first EP.

With the album "Reime und lose Gedanken", YANEQ picks up exactly where he left off with his predecessor "Rufen und Raushaun" 2022. Songs that are written in seclusion in the Brandenburg province or at night in his Kreuzberg apartment on drums, piano, children's instruments and kitchen utensils. And which are then produced by Ben Lauber in the Transporter Room in Berlin. Paired with lyrics penned by Yaneq, often introspective, sometimes political, always with attitude. Krautrock and indie with heavy hip-hop grooves laid under German-language raps. Supported live by the singer and DJ CHÉRIE (Warren Suicide, String Theory).

No idea what Yusuf Islam meant by "Father & Son" back when he was still called Cat Stevens. But certainly not what VON KUMMER & HAAS are presenting us with their first EP. Marco Haas aka T.Raumschmiere, techno-punk pioneer and co-founder of the legendary label Shitkatapult and his son Milan von Kummer celebrate in the guise of their real names. They combine Haas' electronic beats with straight 4 and banging snares with Milan von Kummer's lyrics, which deal with the slightly crazy existence of the young generation in Berlin's nightlife.

DJ ROBERT SMITH is a turntablist, DJ, Germany DMC Champion 2017, as well as Technics/Stokyo's Battle Royal Champ 2025. He plays together with bands like Smith&Smart / AzudemSK / Schmiddlfinga / Kontra K, records mixtapes, creates DJ videos that are seen and celebrated worldwide, releases music and battle wax for the DJ community. He is also part of the "Dusty Donuts" family with Marc Hype & Naughty NMX, DJ Stinoe, DJ Suspect, DJ Goce, DJ Geenee & Hydroe and many more.

All artists performing at the release party are represented on the YANEQ albums "Reime und lose Gedanken" and "Rufen und Raushaun". T.Raumschmiere on both, QSeng featured on "Auf in die Zukunft" and DJ Robert Smith scratched on "Der Weg".
T.Raumschmiere also produced the remix for the current Yaneq single "Kein Bock" in collaboration with Housemeister on T.Raumhouse vereint.
