Yann Loisel & Roots Republic: Born on an island on the French Atlantic coast, Yann Loisel grew up listening to Reggae, Blues, Jazz and Hip Hop. These early musical influences shaped his interpretation of Roots Reggae. His groove-based and clean composition are leaving the vibes and energy as the main drivers of his music, underpinning his committed and spiritual influenced lyrics.

Backed by the band Roots Republic, he is currently to be seen live on German stages and he is preparing the release of a series of singles to be released in Spring 2025.

Yann Loisel’s debut album „Upon The Road“ was released in 2022. Recording at Planet Earth Studio, the very heart of Berlin’s Reggae scene, Yann Loisel was backed by internationally renown musicians and technicians for this project.This first LP helped Yann Loisel to gain a solid reputation in the German Reggae scene and to get attention from national and international radio stations and media like Reggaeville, Reactor 105.7 (Mexico), Riddim Mag and DLF Kultur (Germany) among others.Carrying his energy and cheerful vibes on stage he has been playing on numerous stages in Germany and Indonesia since the release of is debut album.
