Yannic Han Biao Federer stellt vor „Für immer seh ich dich wieder“

In the organizer's words:

Charlotte and Yannic are expecting a child. Between prenatal screenings, project completions and parental allowance calculators, they settle into a new life as a family. But then disaster strikes: their son, Gustav Tian Ming, dies. A moment ago they were googling changing tables and buying breastfeeding pillows, and suddenly they have to choose a coffin and buy a grave. Everything feels wrong, crazy and contrived, but it's really happening. Shocked relatives and friends arrive or take part from afar, carrying offering bowls to the temple. And while Charlotte and he struggle with a bureaucracy that barely knows how to deal with stillborn children, Yannic begins to write down what is happening around him. It is an attempt to understand what has happened to them, to find a language for the grief and pain, but also for the warmth and love hidden within it.

Yannic Han Biao Federer tells the story of the loss of his son, of parting and care work, of parenthood and love with precision and urgency. Für immer seh ich dich wieder is a document of grief - and the healing power of storytelling.
