Slow Club proudly present: Yeast Machine + Pariahlord + Inspired By Illusions
YEAST MACHINE:
Silence. Tension. Sensation. REM sleep on caffeine. Dream away, then open your eyes. Born in 90s grunge, raised in heavy stoner and fuzz, Yeast Machine are blazing a trail that doesn't yet exist. Organic, raw, drop-fanatic and for those who have always wanted to listen to yeast rising. With vocals that echo with the spirit of Jim Morrison and guitars that threaten to crush from all sides.
Yeast Machine have been creating their own raw sound since 2021. Two guitars and bass, psychedelic, atmospheric downtempo parts and raw, varied vocals are characteristic of the band. Brothers Fabian and Tobias Köninger founded the band together with singer Benjamin Frenzel during the coronavirus pandemic. Over the next few months, Jonas Bischof and Marcel Gundlach joined on drums and bass. After intensive songwriting, Yeast Machine went live in 2022, established themselves in the local scene and played their first festivals. In 2023, the band released their EP "Rise of the Yeast" and went on a promotional tour through Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Among others, they performed on stage with scene greats such as 24/7 DIVA HEAVEN and UFOMAMMUT. The band played a total of 25 concerts in 2023. In the same year, Yeast Machine recorded their debut album SLEAZE and released it on the Krefeld alternative rock label "Tonzonen". The album emphasizes rawness without click tracks. Recorded live in Stuttgart's Milberg Studios, the album sometimes allows itself a tempo increase, sometimes sleaziness. The content is somewhere between melancholy, transience and madness.

PARIAHLORD:
Three Dudes. Heavy riffs. Melodic Tones: PARIAHLORD are Carsten Schmitt (guitar, vocals), Jan Kurtze (bass) and Phil Röttgers (drums). The band from Hagen (NRW) was founded in 2019 and has been presenting hard stoner doom songs with multi-layered prog elements ever since, taking the audience on a dust-dry desert excursion. Their first EP "Embrace the Misery" was released in 2020 and was an immediate success in the stoner rock scene. The debut album "Vultures" was released. In 2024, PARIAHLORD then released their second album "Mirrors" on the Timezone Records label, with which they are also coming to us in the Slow Club.

INSPIRED BY ILLUSIONS:
Illusions: They play with our thoughts. Fictions: seem real, reveal new perspectives
and awaken deceptive hopes. They are imagination and illusion at the same time. This or something similar could be used to describe the inspiration for our music, which moves between the genres of post-rock/metal, alternative and progressive. The sound of Inspired By Illusions arises from the interplay of very different elements, always instrumental and rounded off with delay, reverb and distortion. Spherically gliding soundscapes, delicate melodic lines, urgent, hard outbursts and rhythmic accents span a broad panorama of emotional states into which you can let yourself fall in different ways - but be careful! You should never be too sure which level of reality you are dealing with, because the impression could be deceptive and the illusion could possibly shatter... "Building castles in the air costs nothing. But destroying them is very expensive." (François Mauriac)
