Of course, there is a little more to yoga nidra than simply lying down and sleeping. Nidra is described as Vrtti in the Patanjali Sutra and Turiya as the fourth state of consciousness in the Mandukya Upanishads - two philosophical and historical cornerstones, and so Yoga Nidra is not just another temporary modern manifestation of a yoga style but an art and a genuine alternative path to spirituality - Yoga Nidra is a state. It is thanks to gurus such as Swami Satyananda Saraswati or Swami Rama that we now have methods at our disposal that can lead us at least close to the state of Yoga Nidra.
In addition to the psychological effects, we will also look at the philosophical foundations of yoga nidra, engage in a great deal of self-awareness and exchange ideas with each other. And we will work out possible scenarios for integrating yoga nidra into our lives in a very practical way and perhaps also take a look beyond the end of our noses towards integration into therapeutic or teaching settings.
I look forward to effortlessly concentrated learning with you!

Christiane and Daniel met a few years ago in a yoga context. As part of her yoga therapy training at Lovelysita in Prien, Christiane was able to learn a lot about psychological, systemic counseling, supervision and yoga nidra from Daniel.
Daniel has completed his psychology degree in Yoga Nidra and has been a lecturer for the yoga teacher and yoga therapist training courses at Lovelysita in Prien am Chiemsee for many years. Together with Bitta Börger and Dr. Judith Schäfer, he co-authored the book "Yogatherapie in der Praxis". Daniel also offers various training courses on counseling, yoga nidra and personal development, as well as keynote speeches for companies on yoga, meditation and yoga nidra. His teaching style is humorous and profound. He loves the mountains and lives right there ... near Rosenheim on a mountain farm where he gives and hosts seminars and retreats and works as a coach.
