Zeitgenössische Kunst in der Phoenixhalle – ARTe Kunstmesse Stuttgart erneut im Römerkastell

Contemporary art in the Phoenixhalle - ARTe Kunstmesse Stuttgart returns to the Römerkastell

ARTe Kunstmesse Stuttgart is once again inviting art lovers and interested parties to the Phoenixhalle at Römerkastell from May 16 to 18, 2025.

On an exhibition area of 1,500 square meters, around 70 selected galleries and artists from the region, the whole of Germany and neighboring countries will present their current positions.

Dr. Fabian Mayer, First Mayor of Stuttgart, welcomes the sales fair in the city: "Art and artists' fairs are not only places for the presentation of high-quality artistic works, but also for encounters and lively exchanges between artists and their audience. The ARTe fair has also been successfully bringing art and people together for many years. With this in mind, I am delighted that this art fair with its colorful offerings is also taking place here in Stuttgart."

Visitors can expect a diverse presentation of contemporary works - from established artists to up-and-coming talents from various genres of fine art - including sculptures, paintings, drawings, photographs and graphics for sale. The exhibitors include INTER ART - an association of artists and art lovers with the declared aim of enriching the art market with diversity as opposed to cultivated regionalism.

From the region, visitors can look forward to the solo artists Marlis G Schill from Stuttgart and Gabriela Blachetta from Leingarten near Heilbronn, among others. Artists from all over Germany, such as Luka Bunić from Berlin, will also be showing their contemporary works. International artists are also represented at the fair - for example the painter Hans van Weerd from the Netherlands.

The ARTe art experience is complemented by free services: A packing service for purchased works and the option to pay by debit or credit card make it easier to buy art on site. The barrier-free location also offers free access to around 400 parking spaces. Free guided tours with art historian Anette Ochsenwadel are also part of the fair concept. On a total of four dates, she will present the exhibitors' positions in alternating tours and place them in their art-historical context. Pre-registration on the ARTe Kunstmessen website is recommended, as the number of participants is limited.

On the vernissage evening, Friday, May 16, 2025, ARTe Kunstmesse Stuttgart invites all visitors to free admission between 5:00 and 6:00 pm.

The fair tickets are also available digitally and in advance with a discount this year: A 3-day pass costs 12 euros for one person and 23 euros for two people. Day tickets are available for 15 euros at the box office, reduced tickets cost 12 euros. Free admission applies to accompanying children under the age of 16. Reduced admission prices apply to schoolchildren, students, pensioners and people with disabilities (including accompanying persons with a B disability).
