For over five decades, Peter Cornelius has been one of the most successful singer-songwriters in the German-speaking world. Many of his songs have long since become commonplace - classics such as "Reif für die Insel", "Segel im Wind" and, of course, "Du entschuldige i kenn di". In 2026, the exceptional artist turns 75 and celebrates this with his big tour !ZEITLOS!

A combination of lyrics and music
Four men. First and foremost: Cornelius, the frontman, singer and lead guitarist, always playing the guitar that corresponds to the song. On stage with him are bass, drums and keyboards. On the setlist - of course - many of the big hits, but also song gems that shimmer away from the spotlight. What makes Peter Cornelius so special is his way of singing, his guitar playing and his talent for combining lyrics and music in such a way that they form a completely organic and natural unity. His songs are timeless. He often describes how they came about. A wonderful two-hour concert experience full of variety - with songs that he has all written himself.

Insights into his innermost self
In 1973 he wrote his first song "Die Wolkn", then "Hampelmann", in the mid-seventies "Wie a Kugel von an Flipper" - many more followed. It was always important to him that his songs and their content touched people, brought them joy, but also gave them something to think about. Life is not a long, calm river, but something where you have to be prepared for constant rafting. Things happen whether you want them to or not. Much of this can be heard in his songs. They are a wonderful number of windows created over the years that allow a few minute glimpses into the inner man.
