The Tent Music Festival offers many concerts in Freiburg's summer and enriches the cultural landscape every year for 19 days with an impressive main program, club nights at the weekend, workshops, hands-on activities, a colorful children's program and an admission-free supporting program!

Every year, the Tent Music Festival turns Freiburg into a cultural meeting place for music enthusiasts, families, art lovers and the curious from the entire region - and far beyond. Since it was founded in 1983, the ZMF has developed into a diverse and creative summer festival. It combines an exciting and cross-genre music program with cabaret, literature and many other cultural formats in a unique way. From July 16 to August 3, 2025, the ZMF will bring national and international artists to the stage - from established greats to exciting new discoveries. The characteristic tents as a venue create a very special atmosphere for intense concert experiences. What has always characterized the festival is the open and relaxed atmosphere that accompanies the entire event. This can be felt not only on and in front of the stages, but throughout the extensive grounds of the Mundenhof. As a popular excursion destination for families, the ZMF also offers particularly good and low-threshold access to culture and music, especially for children. For many years, the people behind the Zelt-Musik-Festival have contributed to the success of the event with their experience, dedication and organizational talent. My special thanks and appreciation therefore go to all those who put on this special cultural event year after year. I wish the artists every success on stage and the guests of the ZeltMusik Festival unforgettable musical experiences!

We are all looking forward to a beautiful, long Freiburg summer. But the days and nights at the ZMF are a whole new season for me. From July 16, the tent music festival calendar begins with its very own rules: Half of Freiburg meets for packed days and magical nights at the gates of the city to enjoy 19 days of music and culture together. Surprising newcomers alongside the really big names, hands-on events and perfect shows, fun and cheeky children's programs, real insider tips, local heroes and world-renowned artists - everything comes together here, in a very small space. In the legendary red tents or in the open air. Even in 2025, the diversity at the Mundenhof is unsurpassed: Reggae vibes and dancehall sounds meet cool indie pop and folk rock, there's Balkan brass and big band sounds alongside progressive underground, hip hop, trip hop and electro, a virtuoso string quartet, plus disco, post-punk and Grammy-winning jazz at its finest! I would like to thank all the organizers, sponsors, musicians and artists - and wish us all lots of fun at Zeltsommer 2025!
