"Zine" is the abbreviation for "magazine". It is a small booklet that 1. is made by hand 2. deals with a special topic and 3. is easy to reproduce.
The zine culture has its origins in the science fiction fan community of the 1930s. The medium then established itself in the punk scene in the 1970s. Today they are a popular means of expression in the subculture to inform and entertain.
In the workshop, we will design a zine on the subject of WE. We ask ourselves: What does "we" mean to me? Why am I dependent on cohesion? And how does it feel when I have no support from others?
A short writing exercise will help you brainstorm at the beginning. Then you will design your zine using snippets from beautiful old magazines, books and postcards. You are also welcome to bring your own material. I'll show you tips and tricks to make zine-making even more fun.
Very important: You don't have to know or prepare anything.
Note: There will be drinks on site for a donation and vegan snacks, as much as you want. From 14 years. Duration: approx. 3 hours.
