Zookraught have become Seattle's dance-punk darlings, and it doesn't take long for the rest of the world to catch up.

The three-piece band, with their scratched-up face markings and freak-punk aesthetic, leave stages covered in sweat, spit and whatever strange liquids the crowds produce that have convinced them of the power of Zook.
Their new album VIDA VIOLET, released independently on September 19, features their unforgettable sound, top-notch skills, charming demeanor and their best performances to date.
It's no surprise they were included in Global Rock Underground's "Best of the Northwest 2024".

Somewhere between queer, anti-fascist industrial and eco-terrorist synthpunk, ph4nt. makes angry, loud and apparently still danceable music. Industrial punk, in other words.
It's about queerness, repression, resistance against fascization, life in capitalism, the climate catastrophe and what kind of freedom people can fight for despite all of this. ph4nt. Gigs are dancing, stomping, singing and screaming against the prevailing conditions.

Eyes closed & through:

Singing to harsh, mechanical beats and distorted guitars, ph4nt. Songs against fatalism. Augen zu & durch wants to encourage people not to bury their heads in the sand: Fascism threatens us all, but it has only won when we give up. The album leaves room for (self-)doubt, ph4nt. cannot and will not present simple answers. What remains is dancing, stomping, singing or screaming against the prevailing conditions and what may come. Just industrial punk.
