Summer, sun, swing music - with their new program 'Tag am Meer', the Zucchini Sistaz promise us an entertaining concert trip to the coast: with siren-like vocals, the three sunny souls row far out into the tides of popular music. Elegant and refreshing, the exceptional ladies of the German jazz beat dive for one or two musical pearls, fish through music history and unearth sunken shellac treasures.
As always, they have a guitar, double bass, trumpet and a few odds and ends in their luggage to accompany their contemporary sound in the style of the 20s to 60s in a beachy and graceful manner. And of course they also chat, as befits a proper ladies' band: entertainingly, charmingly and with the right amount of detour!
The fact that the Zucchini Sistaz don't have to hide their light under a bushel is proven by joint tours with Götz Alsmann, the SWR Big Band, the Geschwister Pfister and Gerburg Jahnke, among others. With around 100 performances a year, they have built up a loyal and steadily growing audience that appreciates the detail-loving total work of art that is the Zucchini Sistaz. Connoisseurs and aficionados of the cosy art of entertainment even dress in green to attend concerts in some places ... The eagerly awaited new program once again provides the perfect occasion for this. Because a "day by the sea" is almost like a vacation - vocal harmonies you want to swim in, one or two unforgettable sights and the most beautiful catchy tunes as souvenirs make the evening together an outstanding concert event.
The Zucchini Sistaz are:
Tina 'La' Werzinger - vocals, guitar, ukulele
Jule Balandat - vocals, double bass
Schnittchen Schnittker - vocals, blower and kinkerlitzchen
