Zusammen am Tisch · Feministische Perspektiven heute

In the organizer's words:

The next edition of "Together at the Table" will take place as part of the Lichtenberg Women's Week and is dedicated to the Feminist Day of Struggle on March 8. We will focus on the perspectives of FLINTA*, who have to defend themselves against structural discrimination on a daily basis. Manik Chander, founder of My Migrant Mama, Monika Maas, head of the UNDINE SOZIALWERK women's meeting place of the dfb (umbrella organization) in Lichtenberg and Thais Vera Utrilla, managing director of FZM* Feminist Center for Migrants, also in Lichtenberg, will be at the table.

Together we will take a look at the current challenges in feminism and explore how active action can make injustices visible and enable emancipation for all. We will also talk about the significance of intersectionality for these struggles.

Federica Teti will record discussions, thoughts and impressions of the evening in live drawings. The event will be moderated by Geraldine Mormin.

After the discussion, we invite you to end the evening with a party and to celebrate and dance together!

TOGETHER AT THE TABLE

In our series "Together at the table" we would like to try something new. We invite you, young and old and everyone in between, to join us at the table to eat and talk together. The topics that move us are also at the table. - Each edition of our series focuses on one topic, supplemented by impulses from invited experts, moderated by Geraldine Mormin.
