This year, the 7th Biennale at Haus der Kunst in Munich is dedicated exclusively to pairs of artists. zusammen arbeiten is the title of the show, which will take place from July 26 to September 7, 2025 in the west wing of Haus der Kunst. National and international artists (*see list of artists) who have successfully collaborated or worked creatively as a duo will exhibit their works in the exhibition project of the Künstlerverbund im Haus der Kunst München e.V..

Six wrapped objects - including the original Bild newspaper from the day after the fall of the Berlin Wall - by the world-famous
action artist duo Christo and Jeanne Claude are one of the exhibition's magnets. The works of the Swiss
artist ensemble Fischli/Weiss are characterized by a preference for everyday things and situations that are quickly overlooked.
situations, which they translated into humorous works of art. The six-minute short film "Büsi" (Swiss German
for cat), which shows a cat drinking milk, has already shone quietly between garishly colorful, fast-paced
advertising lights in New York's Time Square. The Munich-based artist duo Brunner/Ritz usually create
multisensory works. At Haus der Kunst, they are showing a Mercedes sculpture in loud blue. The video installation
"naughty boys and girls" by Hofmann&Lindholm, on the other hand, will leave you shuddering and speechless.
