On behalf of Mars, Incorporated, we are delighted to invite you to MUCBOOK KAFFEEHAUS @LOCI at Dachauer Straße 24 in Munich on November 27, 2024 from 6 p.m. for an insight into the inspiring, socially relevant project Zusammen.Halt. and to reflect together on the future of our city and community.

There are too few meeting spaces in the city:
The aim of Zusammen.Halt. is to make an active contribution to a sustainable and vibrant Munich. To this end, the Mars Wrigley Foundation will support the revitalization, optimization or creation of a meeting space in Munich by doubling the existing project budget with up to EUR 100,000.

The funding is intended to support places that enable inspiring encounters, strengthen communities and stimulate lively interaction: NGOs and charitable institutions that are organized under private law, such as registered associations (e.V.), non-profit limited liability companies (gGmbH), foundations, non-profit stock corporations (gAG) or cooperatives, are eligible to apply. Unfortunately, publicly funded institutions cannot be considered.

The Munich artists Katharina Konte, Christian Hundertmark and Gabriel Holzner have each contributed a motif for the Zusammen.Halt. project. On the evening of the event, the three artistic works will be presented together with the call for entries for the funding competition: You can look forward to a small surprise in a limited edition!

This call for entries is supported by munich creative business week (mcbw), whose motto for 2025 is "How to design a vibrant community", and by MUCBOOK. The winning project will be selected in a joint jury meeting and announced at mcbw in May 2025. In addition to representatives from Mars, Incorporated and mcbw, the jury will include artist Christian Hundertmark, C100 Studio and Marco Eisenack from MUCBOOK.

18.00 - Soft opening and arrival

6.30 pm - Welcome by representatives of Mars, MUCBOOK and the munich creative business week (mcbw)

6.40 pm - Presentation of the mcbw and the annual motto "How to design a vibrant community" by Nadine Vicentini & Thorsten Buch

18.50 - Meeting room Munich: Call for applications for the Mars Wrigley Foundation grant

7.00 pm - Panel discussion on meeting spaces in the city and their significance for artists, neighborhoods and social cohesion as a whole - with Katharina Konte (illustrator), Christian Hundertmark (C100 Studio) and Marco Eisenack (curator for parallel and interim uses and editor of MUCBOOK)

19.30 - Get together with food, drinks and DJ Oscar Jamin
