Zwei zu Eins (Spielfilm)

Summer 1990, shortly before the monetary union: Maren (Sandra Hüller) and Robert (Max Riemelt) lead a modest life in Halberstadt. When their old friend Volker (Ronald Zehrfeld) returns, they accidentally discover a secret tunnel full of GDR banknotes that have been stored there to rot. The resourceful household smuggles out the now worthless money and develops an ingenious system to exchange it for Western goods.
