Between conformity and civil courage
Recognizing right-wing ideas and taking a stand
A political shift to the right can be observed in our society. Part of this development is a worrying increase in right-wing extremist attitudes. How has this come about? How can we recognize right-wing ideas and take local action against them?
The seminar offers the opportunity to talk to Felix Benneckenstein, a former neo-Nazi, who will report on his exit. The first day of the seminar will take place at the Ahlem Memorial, a place of reflection on the crimes of National Socialism, which is repeatedly the target of attacks. On the second day, at the ZeitZentrum Zivilcourage, we will focus on the culture of remembrance of the victims of right-wing violence and develop options for action for living together with civil courage.
