DAS TATTOO is a temporary exhibition space that will take place in Essen from May to July. Changing group exhibitions will take place every 2-3 weeks, creating new encounters between artists, works, space and visitors.

First exhibition of the newly founded Kollektiv Kipp at Offspace Das Tattoo

With their debut exhibition Zwischen Räumen finden Sie Wände, the newly founded multimedia collective Kipp invites visitors to the imaginatively transformed rooms of the offspace Das Tattoo. The exhibition is an immersive Gesamtkunstwerk that unfolds between circus, play and dream worlds - a place where there is a new surprise behind every wall.

The artists in the collective - Béla Baumann, Charlotte Gisèle Chapuis, Pinkas Friedrich Fritscher, Tabea Jung, Victoria Stellpflug, Suano Weber and Salome Anna Zehnder - come from various disciplines in the visual and performing arts. Together they have created a playful, fairytale-like installation that is reminiscent of a journey through circus worlds, wonderlands and illusionistic interspaces.

The exhibition will be accompanied by a varied supporting program of concerts and performances in other formats, which will be announced on the website later this week.
