The encounter between the two artists Eva Damm and Karolin Schumann gave rise to a first
a first shared intermediate world, which provided the impetus for this exhibition.

In the creative process of both artists, images of inner worlds emerge in which they
complex creative processes in search of ciphers to unravel primal human connections and
connections and encounters. Much remains hinted at, hidden, some things come to the surface

Eva Damm's sculptural works are created from old disassembled objects, which she reassembles into something new.

paper pulp, animal creatures take us into the intermediate worlds of melancholy and vitality, between laughter and

Karolin Schumann's paintings also reveal traces of their origins.
The past is linked to the future through fine charcoal ciphers, amorphous forms
