The aaltra is located on a slope between the Kaßberg, Chemnitz's most populous district, and the inner city ring road in a Wilhelminian-style villa, together with the Kulturhaus Arthur e.V..

It is a lovingly furnished music bar in living room style, which invites you to enjoy cozy after-work beers together with pleasant people. And all to the sound of vinyl records.

In addition, over 500 concerts from various genres by national and international artists, both well-known and as yet undiscovered, have taken place to date.

Dance evenings, poetry slams, pub quizzes, talk shows etc. also find a venue here. Some formats are based on close cooperation with other organizers and cultural institutions such as Arthur e.V. or Atomino.

In the summer months, there is a beer garden under large deciduous trees with an outdoor bar and an open-air stage.
