Astronomische Station "Tycho Brahe"

The "Tycho Brahe" astronomical station offers Rostock schools and schools from outside the city the opportunity to use the observatory and planetarium to support primary school science lessons as well as astronomy, physics and geography lessons for upper grades.

The sun, moon and planets can be viewed in the telescope dome.

In the planetarium, we explain the starry sky and astronomical phenomena to our visitors. Here, the starry sky can be displayed on a dome with a diameter of 6 m using a full-dome projection or the classic projector.

Various public events are held regularly.

An astronomy club is offered for interested pupils.
