The B58 youth center is a facility run by the city of Braunschweig and comprises three main areas: The youth culture association for the promotion of youth culture and music, including the musicians' floor with rehearsal rooms and the Room 8 project, as well as open youth work and school childcare with an outdoor area.
Since the mid-1980s, the B58 youth center has been a place for living and experiencing youth culture. Concerts, parties and charity events dominate the program at B58. The open stage of the "Kulturkneipe" has also recently become increasingly popular.
