If you are expecting us to tell you about our great affinity for crime thrillers, about our passion from childhood, so to speak, from "Emil and the Detectives" onwards, then we are sorry to disappoint you. When our colleague Christian Aumer - clearly the one with the affinity from childhood - presented us with this idea, he was initially and primarily met with skepticism: Crime theater? Isn't that something very old-fashioned and dusty? And do we really want to limit ourselves to such a narrow sector for the rest of our artistic work? As theater makers, do we really want to do the same thing all the time from now on?
