Capitol

The Capitol has a cool history: launched in 1885 as the "Volkshalle", it was the first event hall in Paderborn with space for around 1000 people. There was not only dancing, but also film screenings from 1901. After the bombing in 1945, it was rebuilt and given the name "Capitol-Theater". The first 3D film was shown here in 1953.

After the "Capitol-Theater" had to close in 2001, it was reopened in 2002 as the "Capitol Musiktheater". Today, the "Capi" is a popular spot where you and your friends can party together in a relaxed atmosphere.
