Cine k surprises with films that would otherwise not be shown in Oldenburg: We show films that are outside the mainstream and go beyond the familiar narrative patterns of commercial productions. We also show many films in the original language with subtitles. Short films, documentaries and film classics complete our program, for which we regularly receive awards.

We are also active beyond our cinema: in the summer, we play in the square behind the Kulturetage with our "outdoor cinema" and make the cinema program for the Oldenburg Kultursommer.
