The Comödie Dresden has always been an integral part of the cultural life of the city of Dresden and its region and enjoys an excellent reputation far beyond the state borders.

With over 640 seats, it is Saxony's largest private theater and is therefore not only known to Dresdeners as a venue with a great humorous tradition. Located in the World Trade Center since 1996, the Boulevardtheater is both at the heart of the city and in the hearts of Dresden's citizens.

With our popular in-house productions and successful guest performances, we have already brought many nationally known stars such as Herbert Köfer and Bürger Lars Dietrich to the stage. But regional stars such as Christian Kühn and Rainer König have also made it big at this venue.
