DAS DA THEATER

As the largest professional private theater in the Aachen region, DAS DA THEATER has been staging four new productions for adults and three new plays for children and young people every season since 1987. We supplement our range of plays, musical productions, theater dinners and open-air events with guest events such as concerts and cabaret evenings. With our productions, we want to inspire our audience to reflect and empathize.

Around founder and theater director Tom Hirtz, a total of 65 permanent employees and around 30 freelancers on stage and behind the scenes ensure smooth operations and special theatrical moments. In addition to the two halls of our theater on Liebigstraße, we use external venues in Aachen and the surrounding area for our approximately 1,200 events each year: in autumn and winter, we offer fine food and the best entertainment at the theater dinner at Gut Hebscheid; the finale of each season is our open-air theater at Burg Wilhelmstein.
