DAS SANDKORN - entertainment with attitude

The private theater DAS SANDKORN is located in a listed theater building in the heart of Karlsruhe. A particular focus is on specially developed plays on current topics, both for the evening program and for children's and youth theater. True to the motto "Stage is life", the program is as varied and colourful as life itself - from political cabaret to comedies, original plays or classics to musical revues.

DAS SANDKORN offers good entertainment, but also takes a stand - be it with plays beyond the mainstream on socially relevant topics or with social projects: Not only the integrative theater group "D!E SP!NNER!", but also the senior theater group BASTA60+, the youth club and the annual school theater week find an enthusiastic audience here. As an open house, the theater also hosts many guest performances, readings and concerts. SANDKORN's two theaters are also available as rooms for events - including a stage program and catering.
