THE DEPOT

Once the main streetcar workshop of the municipal transport company, the Depot cultural venue is now a place where creativity can run free. More than 40 individuals, companies, associations and offices have set up shop here since it opened in 2001.
From architecture and design to photography and the visual and performing arts - Kulturort Depot Dortmund brings everything together under one big roof.
Visitors can look forward to a varied program. Exhibitions, theater, dance, cinema, markets, fairs and various workshops: there is something for everyone at the Depot.

EVENTLOCATION

Exceptional architecture, excellent infrastructure and genuine industrial charm: with its various rooms, the Depot offers the perfect setting for events of all kinds and can be rented for events. Further information can be found here: Hire Depot

CHILDREN AND KEGEL

Families are very welcome at the Depot! The children's jumble sale invites you to browse, the Sweet Sixteen cinema offers extra screenings for parents with an affinity for movies and there is also a changing table in the toilet.

ACCESSIBILITY

The Depot is largely barrier-free. An exception are a few studios on the second floor, which do not have an elevator. A barrier-free WC is available.
