Der Flur

In the location's words:

"DER FLUR - Studio. Collective. Lichtspiel" is a network of four artists from the fields of design, literature, film and illustration, who are home to a small inner-city creative quarter right next to the Literaturhaus in Dortmund. In the heart of the urban Kreuzviertel between cozy cafes, trendy stores and art studios DER FLUR opens its premises to the public in spring 2023 with the offer of the Flur formats.

We are authors, illustrators, designers, filmmakers and share our experiences in the fields of film, photography, design, literature and illustration in FLUR in a variety of ways with a diverse audience. We belong to the network of the regional creative scene and would like to contribute to an open, participative, tolerant and inclusive urban community with our offer.

From short film evenings, artistic exhibitions to workshops and storefront pop ups, DER FLUR will offer a variety of formats to the Dortmund cultural scene.
