ZENNER

Ever since the 19th century and throughout the GDR era right up to the wild post-reunification era, the Zenner hall has been the venue for long and big parties - at least that's the story. Opened in 1822, later destroyed, rebuilt in 1955 by star architect Henselmann and now extensively renovated, the Zenner's culture department is once again producing concerts, shows and club nights, which are complemented by selected productions from Berlin's top-notch promoters.

The hall is both the heart and soul of the Zenner - a Berlin institution for contemporary formats and new ideas. Whether it's neo-classical music with Hania Rani on the grand piano, the Pitchfork Music Festival or our in-house production 180 minutes - the Zenner Saal brings together a wide variety of people and formats under one roof. And even if some of the crowds couldn't be more different, they all have one thing in common: a love of good music and a passion for discovering new things. "Berlin finally feeling like Berlin again", wrote a well-known Berlin party crew and we say: we feel!

Outside, the Zenner beer garden with its 1500 seats under large shady lime trees and parasols is the perfect place to soak up the sun, enjoy a cold beer or feast your way through the menu, which offers Berlin classics as well as changing food creations by chef Mads Jansson.
