Rough-metallic and mysteriously sublime, its entrance rises from the winding facades patinated with street art and graffiti; it lurks in the 2nd backyard of the brave, untouched Kulturhaus Haus Schwarzenberg on Rosenthaler Straße 39 and pulsates as a centerpiece of authentic and untouched Berlin underground: the artists' club Eschschloraque Rümschrümp!

Here rumbles a dimly lively microcosm with an unadulterated mix of creativity, inspiration, happenings and encounters - intoxicatingly unforced is the dynamism that wafts through the charismatic interior, diversity its energy: Whether a coffee pub daily from 2 p.m. or a cocktail bar until the wee hours of the morning, select live concerts, performances, DJ nights and parties take place here, bringing together a mixed crowd: resident artists, those from the Berlin and international creative scene, alternative, art enthusiasts, explorers, old and new Berliners. The Eschschloraque is a refuge of free (life) art and alternative club culture, where, according to the moving diversity, everything is possible: Often the party explodes quite unexpectedly, at sunrise one or the other stumbles into the courtyard after a night of dancing, sinks into the sofa during relaxed bar evenings or remains entangled in pleasantly strange conversations with electro sounds or scratchy bar music at the bar.

Since 1995, this attraction has emanated from the Eschschloraque - the artists' club with cult status, over whose semi-darkness and cocktail garden the monsters and creatures of the Berlin artists' group Dead Chickens watch. A fantastically bizarre world of avant-garde metal art unfolds into a cozy meeting and event venue that preserves the playful: for example, in the musical spectrum ranging from electronic to experimental to punk, rock and sometimes oriental music. Or in a somehow nostalgic-vibrating esprit of the 90s in the here and now of authentic Berlin underground. To simply drift here is the freedom to 'Rümschrümpen' - Eschschloraque the stubborn, once memorized and never forgotten name for the place in whose maelstrom you want to dive again and again.
