Insomnia is a legendary Berlin nightclub and a real institution that has developed impressively since its beginnings as a party series in the famous KitKatClub in Kreuzberg in 1997. After stopovers at Metropol and Bessemerstraße, Dominique opened the permanent location of Insomnia in 2006, which quickly became a center of Berlin's hedonistic nightlife.

Insomnia is known for diverse and inclusive events ranging from dance & play to sex-positive events, fetish, queer, swinger, tantra and cuddle parties. Some of the most popular events include Unleashed.berlin, a music-centric party with a strong techno focus, Couples Connected, an exclusive couples-only event, Flashback Friday with nostalgic hits and a kinky atmosphere, and Colours of the Night, where guests receive colored wristbands to signal their intentions for the evening.

Musically, guests can expect a broad spectrum ranging from techno, nu-trance and progressive beats to dark wave, gothic, nostalgic hits from the 80s and 90s, tango and swing.

The club's dress code - "Sexy - Fetish - Elegant evening wear" - encourages self-expression and freedom and is a central component of the Insomnia culture. The sex-positive parties offer safe, respectful spaces where consent, sexual self-determination and inclusion of all orientations and preferences take center stage.

During the week, from Tuesday to Thursday, Insomnia functions as a swingers club. At the weekend, however, it transforms into a vibrant, sex-positive nightclub with two dance floors and hundreds of guests dancing and playing.
