The Kandelhof is particularly popular with older audiences and hosts many literary adaptations. It is also home to the monthly Queer Film Night, the Gay Film Week - the oldest of its kind in Germany! - and short films. Short film highlights include the annual Augenblicke, the Oscar Shorts programs and the Golden Shorts on the shortest night of the year; and of course we also show a short film as a supporting film before every evening screening at the Kandelhof.
