KAP94

The KAP94 art and culture workshop is a platform for artists and creative people from all disciplines. At KAP94, performing arts meet new technologies, visual arts meet music and composition, arts and crafts meet dance and performance, upcycling meets gardening. Thanks to the infrastructure typical of our city, KAP94 is a beacon project as a center of attraction for the liberal arts. People meet here, work together, share skills and benefit from each other. Projects are realized. Interdisciplinary networks are created. Events take place.

So far, five studios, an event space, exhibition areas and a bar have been created in KAP94. There is a small stage, a dance floor, a music system, a lighting system and several instruments.

But the building has even more potential. There is a roof garden that has been opened up to the public. New, innovative, artistic models, concepts of collaboration, works of art, performances, utility stands, new event formats are to be created in KAP94 - experiments are to be dared.

We wish for continuous further education and exchange beyond the city limits. With residency programs and scholarships, we invite up-and-coming artists, including those from other federal states, as well as international artists and creatives to work at KAP94. Workshops and courses as well as further training, knowledge exchange and events on the cultural and creative industries take place here. We network and cooperate with other institutions.
