More artists than ever before are coming to Hanover for the 16th edition of the KunstFestSpiele Herrenhausen from 22.05. to 08.06.2025. From orchestral sounds and ritual experiences to the family program on the KunstFestSpiele day, we span the arc to the grand finale of Ingo Metzmacher's 10-year directorship, the concert The Unanswered Question with music by Charles Ives on Sun 08.06. in the Kuppelsaal of the HCC.
With Georg Friedrich Haas, Klangforum Wien, Tim Etchells, Agrupación Señor Serrano, Doris Uhlich, Boris Acket, Mette Ingvartsen, Das Neue Ensemble, Ryoji Ikeda, Ensemble Modern, Moritz Ostruschnjak, Brigitta Muntendorf, the NDR Radiophilharmonie and many more, as well as 9 choirs, 50 pianists, 160 wind musicians, 58 performers and 8 skaters from the region.

The KunstFestSpiele Herrenhausen is an annual international and interdisciplinary festival in which music plays a central role. In numerous venues in and around the Herrenhausen Gardens and in the city of Hanover, the KunstFestSpiele present music and circus theater, performances, concerts, dance and theater performances as well as installations. Some of the works shown are specially commissioned and developed for the KunstFestSpiele Herrenhausen venues.
