Kunstverein Unna e.V.

The Kunstverein Unna e. V. was founded on December 19, 1968 by art enthusiasts. Since then, the association has been committed to contemporary art, organizes exhibitions and is dedicated to promoting and communicating current and unusual artistic ideas. In the more than 55-year history of the Kunstverein, over 300 exhibitions of the most diverse artistic positions have already been shown. Young artists are given plenty of space to present their work. In addition, the association supplements its program with excursions, workshops, an "Art and Cinema" series, concerts and other events.

The Kunstverein Unna sees itself as an art mediator and is therefore open to all people - regardless of whether they are members of the association or not. Experienced exhibition visitors get their money's worth just as much as newcomers. In the relaxed atmosphere of the exhibition rooms in the old mill building, there are often opportunities to talk to the artists.
