A place that focuses on the current local scene and dives deep into the musical avant-garde. Here we celebrate diversity as one of our cornerstones and create an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome. From innovative rhythms to classic techno sounds, our club is a haven for everyone who loves music and dance. Come by and be part of an experience that unites community through passion, respect and joy.
Located in the heart of Berlin on Warschauer Straße in Friedrichshain, the club is known for its open and diverse atmosphere. Diversity and inclusion take center stage - we actively promote a respectful and supportive community. With a varied program of live music, DJ sets, performances and art installations, we offer a stage for creative minds from all over the world.
The club - formerly known as Suicide Circus - first opened its doors in 1994 and quickly became an integral part of Berlin's techno scene. Named after the influential band Suicide, greats such as DJ Hell and Ellen Allien played here. After a temporary closure in 1999 due to gentrification, the club found a new home on the RAW site in 2009 - and has continued to develop ever since. Since 2024, the club has been operating under the new name Lokschuppen Berlin.
From pulsating bass to creative ecstasy
The club is closely linked to various local collectives that help shape its unique character and diverse audience. From Formula 90 and Pfandidos to GabberIndustries Berlin - groove, trance, hard techno, hardcore and house all come together here. In addition to legendary names such as DJ Rush and Ellen Allien, we have also welcomed up-and-coming stars such as Brutalismus3000, MCR-T and Klangkünstler. Since 2018, we have also been home to Chantal's House of Shame - an iconic queer party series with (drag) performances and a sex-positive atmosphere.
