Our collection in the Scharnhorst barracks, Niedersachsendamm 67-69, shows Bremen's military history from its beginnings, the first citizen companies, through the 1st Hanseatic Infantry Regiment No. 75, the Franco-Prussian War of 1870/71, the 1st and 2nd World Wars, the collapse and finally the development of the Bundeswehr to the present day. Valuable originals, unique items and lots of historical background material are on display. Expert staff will be happy to guide you through the collection on request.
