This is my place.

Public libraries provide people with media of all kinds, teach media skills and thus enable participation in social life. These are also the tasks of the Munich City Library. It is a lively metropolitan library that sees the diversity of urban society as a challenge and addresses it in its services.

There are over twenty city libraries throughout the city. We visit schools and people with limited mobility with the book buses and the media mobile. The Monacensia in the Hildebrandhaus, the law library in the town hall and our hospital libraries have services for special interests and concerns.
