Welcome to the museum!

The Huelsmann Museum has been housed in the former director's villa of the Ravensberger Spinnerei since 1995. With its high-quality, diverse collection of works of applied art, the museum is one of the young arts and crafts museums in Germany. Spread over four floors, objects are exhibited chronologically according to art epochs on a variety of themes, such as table culture, treasure and glass art, interiors and living as well as Asian objects and scientific instruments. The neighboring White Villa houses the modern art collection with objects from the period between 1900 and the present day.
