Nordpark in Bielefeld is an approximately seven-hectare landscaped park in the middle of the Mitte district. Old trees and extensive lawns create a peaceful, green oasis, ideal for walking, relaxing or picnicking. The listed Schinkel Pavilion, now a café, invites you to linger, while in summer the magnificent dahlia show with different varieties delights visitors. For families, there is a modern playground and a mini-golf course as well as a pond with a water fountain and signs for distinctive tree species such as the tulip tree as a natural monument.
