In a listed ensemble of houses in the immediate vicinity of the Neukölln Opera House, the Passage Kino shows cinematic art in four halls. The former "grungy child" Neukölln has been developing into one of Berlin's most creative and lively cultural districts for some time now. The resident art scene is attracting more and more interested people to the district. Combined with its internationality, the neighborhood is a melting pot for creativity and culture amidst historic buildings and modern shopping centers.

The architecturally unusual cinema is centrally located on the well-traveled shopping mile Karl-Marx-Strasse. As soon as you enter the forecourt, you leave the hustle and bustle behind and can surrender to the charm of the historic building. Visitors are offered a wide selection of films in four movie theaters. The program is family-oriented, which is also reflected in the attractive admission prices. Every seat here offers the most comfortable cinema seats and optimal viewing conditions. The jewel of the arcade is the large Cinema Hall 1. Towering over two floors, it fascinates with its engaging, theater hall-like ambience. The red velvet of the chairs and the curtain contrasts pleasantly with the white walls.

A huge chandelier bathes the room in soothing light. Unusual for a movie theater are the glass double doors, which allow the room to be used for events with daylight. A special retractable screen construction also allows the stage area to be converted into a full stage. The impressive and spacious foyer of the cinema is a pleasant place to meet, wait and talk. In the mornings, a wide range of programs is offered to daycare centers and schools in the arcade. Once a month, the Spatzenkino for the very youngest moviegoers is a guest and also once a month the Czech Cultural Center presents a Czech film here. The Sneak Preview is especially popular with the regular audience.

Every Tuesday evening at 11 p.m., film lovers meet here to be surprised by an upcoming film.
