The Pferdestall has its very own, very inspiring atmosphere. Centrally located close to the port, the building, which was erected in 1905, was formerly used by the Brauns haulage company to house its draught animals for the haulage business. Typical features of the room from this period have been preserved - old troughs and troughs, tiles, wrought-iron grilles in the ornate arched windows. Artists and audiences alike appreciate the excellent acoustics.

The horse stable is the venue of the "Kunst & Nutzen Atelier e.V." association. Oliver Peuker is responsible for the artistic direction and program planning.
