The sports hall of the education center is located in Halle-Neustadt directly next to the athletics stadium. It was built in 1967 and partially renovated and converted in 1996. In the process, changing rooms and sanitary facilities were created for the disabled. The sports hall is not only used by track and field athletes, but also hosts numerous rhythmic gymnastics, table tennis and boxing events. Handball matches such as the "Saale Cup" and volleyball matches are also held here. The Sporthalle Bildungszentrum is easy to reach by car (Nietlebenerstr.) and by streetcar (lines 2, 9, 10, 11) to the Mark-Twain-Str. stop, from where you have to walk back to Nietlebenerstr. and then straight on to the hall on the right-hand side.
