The start

The debut in March 1998 succeeded even without big money. In addition to ideas and ideals, two pillars were important as a basis: On the one hand, Cordula Nolte's 14-year career as a dance teacher with her own dance art school. On the other hand, the finally successful search for a suitable space for a private studio stage.

The Ensemble

The entire ensemble comes from the 'Schule für Tanzkunst' run by Cordula Nolte. To realize dance dreams, that is more important to them than fees. They earn their money with other work.

The stage

In what is probably Dortmund's oldest gymnasium, a nostalgic-looking stage space was created solely through their own efforts. It alone always receives open praise from the audience.

The style

Each member of the ensemble can develop his or her individual skills. All pieces develop in common creativity to stage maturity. In this way, everyone can embody his or her role as expressively as possible.

The goal

Consistently, the private theater wants to emphasize the cultural offer in NRW with its own touch. In the annual seasons, usually from November to April, the latest in-house production can usually be seen once a week -- with now more than 25 years of increasing audience response.
