Techne Sphere Leipzig

The Techne Sphere Leipzig combines the crane manufacturer Techne Kirow, the art area Halle 9 and a gallery with changing exhibitions, a cultural program and a public canteen. On the roof of one of the factory halls, a sculpture made of white concrete was placed on the brick façade according to plans by star architect Oscar Niemeyer. The Niemeyer Sphere is home to the restaurant Céu Dining (Portuguese for heaven) and stands for light, original cuisine.
