As a non-profit organization, The PhotoBookMuseum promotes the photo book as one of the central forms of expression in photography. Founded in 2014, the museum serves as a platform for collections, exhibitions and events and is dedicated to researching and communicating contemporary photobook culture. To date, it is the only museum in the world dedicated exclusively to the medium of the photo book.
