Since the start of its program in 1991, the cabaret stage Theater 509 has been Cologne's top address for new cabaret and comedy productions and the starting point for a variety of artistic projects and developments. The audience loves the performance venue high above the rooftops of Cologne (5th floor) not least because of its manageable size, pleasant atmosphere and pricing.
Concerts and exhibitions round off an innovative and synergetic range of events that is important for Cologne's cultural landscape.

Our own parking lot is quickly full on event days. Our tip: The Novotel underground parking garage (Bayenstrasse 51) is the cheapest alternative. The Rheinauhafen underground parking garage (Harry Blum Platz 2) is also very close, but not as cheap.

If there is a queue in front of or inside the Stollwerck building, as a visitor to Theater 509 you can always walk past it and go directly to the 5th floor (there is also an elevator). The queue is then from an event in the hall on the 1st floor and NOT from Theater 509 on the 5th floor.

Drinks and snacks are available in the Theater Lounge on the 5th floor from 1 hour before the start of the event. Unfortunately, we are not yet able to offer you ticket payment and kindly ask you to pay in cash, both for tickets and at the bar.
